Everything You Need in One Convenient Location with Winkflash
Share photos, order cool stuff and enjoy unlimited photo storage at Winkflash
Winkflash offers one-stop shopping for all of your photo needs. Free sharing, free storage and free high resolution downloads are only a few of the benefits of signing up.
Where do I start?
If you get frustrated at other sites that aren't particularly user friendly, try Winkflash. Once you've created your account, Winkflash gives you step-by-step directions on how to proceed. You don't have to fish around trying to figure out how to upload your photos or how to share your albums.
The first thing you should do is upload your photos. Click on the Add photos icon on the left side of your Winkflash home page. You'll be presented with seven upload options. Pick the one that's right for you. A couple of them require you to download a piece of software -- if you're uncomfortable with that, use one of the old standbys such as the file transfer protocol your operating system supports.
There are no limits to how many photos you can upload, or how long you can leave them on the site. And it's free.
Once you've added photos, you can order prints, merchandise, DVDs, cards, and what Winkflash calls cool stuff like license plates and calendars -- all at a reasonable price, with low shipping charges.
But I really want to share, not order prints
Winkflash offers a multitude of ways to share. Store photos in your Friends folder, and only invitees can view them. You can also start a Group, or become a member of other Groups. There's an option to view public photos on the website. You can email your photo folders to your friends.
What else can I do?
Edit your photos, add tags, create slideshows, save your projects -- you can even create your own logo or text to be imprinted on your greeting cards and prints. Give Winkflash your cell phone's email address, and you can upload directly from your phone. There's a CD mailer program, so if you have trouble with uploads, or if you have a slow Internet connection, you can mail your photos to Winkflash.
What about Mac users?
The software that you download from Winkflash to manage your orders and edit your prints is not Mac compatible. Everything else is.
Give Winkflash a spin the next time you need an easy way to order prints, and stick around for the sharing.
