How to Create a Photo Greeting Card Using Kodak Gallery
Create a photo greeting card -- not just for Christmas anymore!
Almost everyone has received a holiday photo greeting card with the handsome family in front of the hearth and the personalized note. But the question is... how do you make one? Here's a step-by-step guide.
A Step-By-Step Guide to Creating a Photo Greeting Card
Keep in mind that it isn't necessary to wait for the next big holiday season to create a photo greeting card.
Use a photo of your graduating senior to invite friends and relatives to the big day. Take a quick pic of your bouncing bundle of joy using that lovely shower gift for a personalized thank-you note. There are options a-plenty!
For this example, we're inviting family to my daughter's first ballet recital. To get started, sign on to your Kodak Gallery account. If you don't have a Kodak Gallery account, you can read about how to get one (and the benefits of having one) here.
Using the navigation bar on the left hand side, click on Cards & Invitations. You can see below that there are lots of ideas and options for photo greeting cards.

I'm going to click on Invites and what do you know? There's a ballerina invitation template -- perfect for my purposes. You can see it below.

After clicking on the invitation of my choice, I see that I have other options to personalize my invitations. How do I want my card to be laid out, and how many pictures do I want to include? There are lots of layouts to choose from.

I think two pictures are plenty, and since my pictures are taller than they are wide, I pick this invitation:

With those decisions out of the way, I click on the Create Card button to go to the next step for my photo greeting card.
In the next screen, I will need to decide what photos to include. Simply click on the Add Pictures link and you will have the choice of albums you have previously uploaded or to upload new pictures. You can drag photos or albums right onto the picture tray, or select the ones you want and then click finish.
Design your layout by dragging the picture over from the picture tray onto the invitation. You can double click on the images once they're placed on the invitation to edit your photo.
Next, click on the message within the invitation to navigate to the text tools area. This is where you can add your event details or personalized message to create your perfect photo greeting card. You can edit the font, size, or color to suit your taste.

I've finished editing my photo greeting card, so I hit the Finished button and then click the Continue button.
To make things truly unique, I have the option of choosing a matching envelope for my photo greeting card. Keeping in theme, I choose the ballerina pink envelope.

Before I add my invitation to the shopping cart, I want to carefully check it over to make sure it looks exactly the way I want. I click on the Preview link to see my card in its final form.

Voila! A perfect photo greeting card invite! Close the preview panel to get back to the order screen.
Now I just need to decide how many sets I need to order and add them to my cart and I'm all set.
There you go! Follow these simple step-by-step directions to help you make a beautiful photo greeting card to share!
