6 Steps to Easily Backing up Your Photos on Shutterfly
Create an archive DVD on Shutterfly to ensure your precious pictures stay safe.
The idea of free online photo sharing may have brought you to Shutterfly, but how many pictures have you uploaded to the free and unlimited site? And what would you do if those photos were suddenly gone?

If you don't feel up to the task of downloading all your photos onto CD or DVD, Shutterfly is happy to assist you. Just follow the steps below to create your own archive DVD on Shutterfly.
Step 1. Start by logging into your Shutterfly account. If you already have photos uploaded, move on to Step 2. If not, take a few minutes to upload your photos into online albums. Organizing them by date or event (consistently) will help you find photos quickly and back them up when you need to.
Step 2. Once you have your photos uploaded, go the Shutterfly Store by clicking on the menu bar at the top. From the left menu, select "Image Services".
Step 3. One of your options from "Image Services" is an "Archive DVD". Click on this and you'll quickly begin the process. When the "Archive DVD" page appears, click on "Get Started".
Step 4. The first page will ask you to enter a title for your DVD. Type this into the dialogue box and click "Next".
Step 5. The following page will display all of the albums you currently have uploaded into your Shutterfly account. Select each of the albums that you want to be placed on the DVD and continue.
Step 6. The final steps include reviewing the albums that you selected and designating a mailing location for your archive. You'll then be taken to checkout and can make your purchase.
