One of the best photo software programs to use is the one that comes with your digital camera. Unfortunately, not all cameras include versatile programs. It doesn't mean you have to struggle along without it or pay high prices for good photo software. You can use a free one or take a free trial while you make up your mind.
Why pay for photo software if you don't have to?

Photoshop Elements allows you to edit your photos so they look their best. You can put keywords to each image so you can find them easily. You can create beautiful photo books, slide shows, cards, CD labels and more.
When you finish preparing your images with the photo software, you can share them with friends through web galleries, on your television, and on mobile phones.
Picasa
Google offers their excellent ad-free and virus-free Picasa photo software (which we highly recommend), which you can download free. It provides all the features you need to edit, sort and put together your photos for sharing.
One of the great features of Picasa is that it can locate lost and forgotten images on your computer. Then, it will sort them by date so you can easily figure out where you shot them.
Once you have gathered your photos using Picasa, the photo software makes editing and sorting simple. You can rename the images whichever way you like. You can create folders to store them to your liking. You can add a star rating to your favorite photos so you know which ones are most important to you.
After naming and organizing your images, you can password-protect any that you want to keep private. This photo software then lets you put together photo albums and slide shows, and makes it a simple matter of clicking a button to have them appear on your blog.
Whether you choose to buy photo software or work solely with the free one, you'll soon find that preparing and sharing your photos has never been easier.
