Snap up some great deals at Shutterfly

Perhaps you've spent hours wandering the Internet searching for the best photo sharing site. And after what seemed to be a long search, you've found Shutterfly and are fairly comfortable with the site. Not only do you have hundreds of pictures uploaded to your personal account, but you've also made several print orders. And even though you're sold on the basics of the site, you still want to the best bang for you buck.

Snapping a Great Deal

Sure, Shutterfly gives you free photo storage without a limit and will create every catchy item you could possibly imagine with your favorite picture stamped on the front, but how does the site really make itself unique in the world of online photos?

Well, it starts with the options. If you want to add cost benefit to the already-present convenience, add an Annual Savings Plan or a Prepaid Plan to your account. You can do this by navigating to the "Shutterfly Store" at the top of the homepage. From here, click on "Savings Plans" in the middle portion of the page. This allows you to pick a plan that either gives you an annual savings of 30% or prints as low as $0.12 each.

Another fabulous way to improve your deal is to utilize Shutterfly's printing options. If you're working on a large print job and aren't interested in waiting for the photos to arrive in the mail, you can have Shutterfly send your order to the nearest Target store.

This is easily accomplished once you select the photos that you want to print. When you get to the "Select Recipients" screen of the ordering process, click on "Pick up at a Target Store" on the right hand side of the page.

The page brings up a box prompting you to enter your zip code and once submitted, a map of nearby Target Stores appears. Click on the store closest to you and select it as the recipient of your order. Depending on the store's availability, you can quickly have your photos in hand.

Continuing with Shutterfly's printing alternatives, they save you some time with personalized cards as well. Say you're creating a thank you card using a photo from your daughter's birthday party. By building a greeting card in the Shutterfly Store, you can select the recipients from your contacts and Shutterfly will address the envelopes and mail the cards for you!

From the "Shutterfly Store" tab, select "Cards" from the left menu bar and then click on "Greeting Cards." The page gives you options for card designs and you can select the one you prefer. After selecting a photo (or more) to add to the card's design, you add the inside and outside text.

The mailing page gives you the option of having the cards mailed back to you or having Shutterfly mail them for you. By spending just a little time setting up your contacts, you save tons of time in the long run as Shutterfly does the secretarial work for you!

Clearly Shutterfly provides options that make online photo work quite a dream. What project will you create next?
